Platten der Zukunft
Shaping"Panels of the Future" – A Collaborative Journey

In our process facilitation work, we teamed up with expert Karoline Habt (https://www.karolinehabt.de) and the workshop Plattenladen to embark on a journey in 2024. Together, we began shaping what we call the "Panels of the Future.“- (Platten der Zukunft).
The Plattenladen workshop explored how plywood panels can be meaningfully integrated into a circular economy. We asked ourselves: What do we need to know about the material? What are we experiencing in the world of circular construction? And how can we truly implement it?
A series of internal sessions were held with material experts, designers, makers, craftsmen, and Plattenladen customers.
These workshops focused on a shared vision:
How can we build more sustainably?
How can the demand for healthy, non-toxic materials become a foundational expectation for all customers and stakeholders?
Out of this co-creative process, new approaches emerged—rooted in circular economy, community involvement, and participatory formats. These responses reflect the growing needs of the present while pointing toward the construction practices of the future.

Kiosk for Interaction
Strategy for Building an Analog & Local Network
Berlin
Kiosk for Interaction uses the infrastructure of existing snack bars to occupy them during their individual closing times and mutate them into spaces for action.
The project is developing an alternative strategy for building an analog, local network. The naturalness and transparency with which snack bars function in the city is adopted by the project in order to start an interaction with their users. In the 25th hour, a network is created that is rooted in the neighborhood and spreads from there across the city.
The overarching goal of the project is to mobilize energy for social transformation by linking skills and sharing resources.
